So I was just sent a box it was like somebody knew my birthday month was happening, you know? Yeah. And I got like a huge box of stuff from flora and bast. And they have so many things. My favorite pot right now is interesting question. I would say the experience of a cannabis retreat that I was just on. I just got back from Jamaica, for my first time ever going to that motherland, which was fantastic with ODP tea and her retreat, and I was with 26 other black women. And we just got to celebrate the land, the people and herb and I learned so much about myself and my solitude and my like, what I'm like around other people that are new and different. And I got to just be embraced in a community that I never thought I would have access to. So I would say that's my favorite pot right now. It was five days in paradise and it was always for 20 That was what ODP ji said all the time. She was like I just need y'all to know is always for 20 here so much. So The in the back of the bus in the back of the shuttle bus on our way to an event. We were sparking up blondes and passing them around in the back of the bus and I was like, I'm a rock star. I was like, This is what rock stars do. This is what we do. So grateful for that. Okay, going into Willa.

That's my shirt is not pot because that was like the perfect way to go is a perfect escapist entertainment. And I'm really happy because one of my favorite drag race stars one Jinx month so yeah. I haven't watched I remember watching drag race years ago, but I don't. I don't really watch TV too often. I have like a couple of subscriptions. And I do watch with thing but favorite not pot is the Japanese filmmaker. I think it's hero. What's his name? Hero Morotai. He did Atlanta. He did the Childish Gambino music video back in the day. This is America. And he just executive produced a show on Hulu called the bear. And it's all about it's all about the restaurant, industry and a restaurant but it's showing this one really good. It's so good the acting is so and I think that is my escapism is going back into the restaurant. I used to work in the restaurant all the time. So I'm used to like the chaos of a restaurant and for some reason just watching that show brought me back to calm like seeing somebody else's chaos brought me to peace. Great show. It's on Hulu. And you? I would say that you make everyone think and you help everyone reimagine things in many different ways. So how would you reimagine a more queer active or a more inclusive cannabis industry? Yeah, I can start. I knew, I mean, dish it over. So I wrote a list, I wrote a bulleted item numbered agenda that I'm on. Because I imagined this every day. And I'm like, we're getting closer every single day. So I said, number one, we're going to reunite people through ancient practices, so that we can nourish everybody for higher energy, right, we bring people together to rest, to dance, to have good food, plant medicine, and a lot of sex. I know that is number one. Like it can actually be very simple. If we don't put too much into it, it can be extremely simple. So that's number one. We bring people together for those simple things. So number one, I'm thinking we reunite people that are like minded, that are together that are close, that understand their people so that they can start coming together as connections, feeling safe, feeling comfortable, then number two, we start to mix like minded groups together, right. And then just have spaces for fun explorative environments. So after we all rest, have plant medicine, have sex. And then we come together later, we mix different groups together. And we just have like, good music, food, and low dose medicine do the work. Like we just stepped back because in my opinion, the plants are already talking to us, they're sending out the signals for us. So I'm like great. All we have to do is just receive and chill out, like just relax a little bit, listen to good music and all that stuff. And then number three, very simple. I really do feel like what happened was see what had happened was is I don't think white people truly understand this. And I say this as a whole to white people because I'm not going to I'm not going to not generalize. I really do feel like white people are just more progressive in the ways of like stripping back culture. Like, I really do think that it's on us. I'm not going to put another thing on people of color. But I really do think that it is nice when you start re integrating more fun for all of us. And just to get people connected with the earth. Because I really do think that what happened was, is a lot of the European people just started to strip out things because they were like, no land no ancient practices. No, there's no dancing, no sex. And they just started saying all these rules. And all I'm saying is bring back all the fun things, mix us all together, something that they never wanted to happen, and just create these spaces. For everybody just having a good time. And everybody being adults, and creating these, like safe understandings that we are human, this is what being human is. And then teaching the kids that are coming up, here's what being human is like. And here's how we can move forward as a people. And I really do feel like being human is just admitting that we all have emotions, we all just want to dance, I really do feel like at our core dance has been taken out from so many of us. And if we can just get back to like, a weekly dance session, I really do think that's going to solve all of it. So I love that question, Diana, I was like, I'm gonna make it simple in like three plot points. I do think that all we have to do is just bring that music, plant medicine, and dancing and good food and sex. I know I mentioned sex a few times. And that's why I think I started 69 And Sunny, because it's just like, it's all my Leo says what? Elliot says everybody just have fun, give and receive. The government hates me. The government does not like me the government's like, shut down. Kaylin Cowen, we don't know who you are. But I do really feel nobody knows. But I do really feel that it's simple. And I just imagine this oasis for us, that is just all centered around us just like coming together and ascending our vibration so that we can just chill. That's where I'm at.

I just want to affirm what DJ Kailyn Callen just said. That amazing, I love that you had it in bulleted form. And I, I really believe that so many of us are having these very parallel visions, dreams, thoughts, consciousness, like, it's happening so frequently, at least from the people that I've been meeting, it's like we're, we all have an almost shared vision of just like this, this place of sovereignty, you know, like this, this oasis that we can really cultivate and create. And that we can tap into the indigenous practices and tap into our roots and see how things have been done before. Because there are sort of blueprints out there that are doing what we want, but maybe not in the way that we envision it. But then it's happening in pockets. And I that's what I have to remind myself when I think of like, you know, the Doom gloom, or like the climate Doom, or like whatever Doom, and you get kind of overwhelmed with this sense of like, there's so much it's happening within you remember, at least I had to remember to myself, it's like, but in these pockets, we have this freedom in these pockets. We are practicing this self care, and community care and collective liberation, we're practicing it in so many different ways that, that it's already happening. And so that's what I remind myself when it comes to those points. But to your question about how do we create that, whether it's in the cannabis space, or whatever industry is remembered to tap in to those communities is building that collective is gathering people together, it's the connection, it's understanding, like, what I love about what I remember, the most of us take not Han, is that he says, without understanding, love cannot exist. And when I always remember that, it's like, yeah, a lot of this friction, miscommunication, misunderstandings, all this shit that we have the systems, all that stuff, there was like no understanding in there. So then, of course, love is not going to be existing in new systems, because they views everything as an object is everything in the transaction. Whereas we are trying to come in here and remember to like, strip away that the ideology that thinking and it takes a lot like it's a daily practice, it's like a constant, because we're still in it. You know, this is like, a system that has been designed for like, hundreds and hundreds of years. So it's like, how do we start tackling the in our own ways, and then grouping and connecting the Kalen said to the folks that are had that resources, and then maybe we can contribute. And then we can see different pathways, and we can open up those neural pathways in her mind, to really tap in. And I think that's why plant medicine comes into play. That's where joy comes into play. That's where love comes into play. That's where, you know, sex comes down to play as like, we're creating new pathways in our bodies to really deeply connect and understand. And the third part they can say was, yeah, then we have the spaces that we can practice. You know, I think it's all a practice, like, just remember that. So yeah, that's, that's what I would say, period. And thank you Little

Well, you want to talk about that, because I was invited by Will. I remember the day of us saying, well, because you were doing your volume three, or was it volume four? Four? Isn't volume four? Yeah, you had just in volume three. And volume four was coming out of a new clothing drop. And I was like, I do want to do something for for 20. Let's do it together. And I was actually linking up, Bryce, I was linking up my partner and, and then well, it was like, What do you want to do? Well, you want to do on. And I was like, no. But I got the call. And I felt so blessed and so honored, and so privileged to be able to call in to that and be able to create something so special, to be able to have clothing. Because every single day, you know, we bring these modalities with us, like we're calling from our ancestors from the land from the plants to be able to speak. And I feel like clothing is the best way to speak without having to say anything, to be able to wear something that allows you to constantly be able to speak. And so my contribution was to create and design a shirt. And my shirt was a weed friends tour. And I really wanted to create something that made me feel fun. Like, I was always going to be celebrating for 20 on for 20 No matter where I was in space or time. And wherever I'm celebrating for 20 with friends, snacks, I created a band shirt for weed. And that, to me just felt limitless and felt like that's something that I can wear forever, that anybody could wear forever that wants to represent the plant in an interesting way. And because of that it's actually becoming a podcast. But that's in another news. But just being able to celebrate the idea of weed friends coming together is I was so grateful to be able to submit that shirt and to the campaign.

I remember being at the haircut spot getting my hair done, and reading it. And I was just so it fills me with joy to like, know that y'all had so much fun in the process of like working analog style, working with your hands, like just exploring what it could be. And then y'all coming up with these concepts. And it just, yeah, I loved it. And I was just so grateful that y'all had a beautiful time with it. And so I say thank you. So tell us more about what your collections are will like, what is a collection? How can people access them? And what do those collections support, because I know, I just purchased an amazing shirt from one of those collections. And I cannot wait for everyone to see it. It says abolish the constructs. And it's like, again, speaking to my soul, like makes my heart sing, my soul, my black car, all of it. It's just it warms up whenever I see anything that you create, you just both of you, you both create just wonderful, amazing art. But anyway, so tell us about those collections and how people can access them.

So those start well, thank you for saying all that. Want to honor what you just said. So I really, really appreciate that. So that's one and then two, how the collection started with a site come from the clothing world like I like back in. Back in my past previous lifetime, I was doing clothing. And I got out of it because it just didn't feel right. It didn't feel aligned to what I was doing. Like I was like, man, we were going through like this thing called at the time, it was called like, there was a term for it. They had the summit's, and they were talking about all the pollution that was that was caused from the clothing industry, and how they can mitigate that because, you know, there was garment dying off in China. And they were like to polluting the waters with all these toxic chemicals just to produce a collection each season. And I felt like I was contributing to that. By doing the same thing, like I was designing clothing for a while. And so um, I told myself, like, I want to get out of it. So I didn't ever thought everything that I was going to get back into clothing. And so when it kept being asked during, like, when I was doing designs for how the human I was just like expressing my thoughts in visual form, folks would ask like, oh, is this going to be I will have this on his shirt, I will have this on his shirt. And I kept saying thank you, like, you know, I'll take note of that. But then I just kind of like, let it go. Like I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to put it on clothing. Until finally my friend who started ever press was like, Hey, I think I really think they should look this up. Just check it out. There's no cost really is just, you put your designs out there. And if you reach a certain amount of production and goes to print, and so that kind of sold me because I was like, Oh, that's great, because it's only getting produced for what's been ordered and not like over producing. And it's being like digitally printed versus like garment dyeing. And all these things were like, kind of checking it off on my list. I was okay, maybe maybe I'll try it. And so that's how it started. I was like, okay, if I'm going to do this, I want to be able to make sure that I like do it, um, more consciously like, like, I know, it's still capitalism is still all these things. But I guess it just feels better, like knowing that it's an organic shirt. Like I don't.

But you also every sale that you have you contribute to other amazing efforts and initiatives, correct?

Yes, that was the point of it, too. It's like at first it was really to help fund the first collection ever did I called it the fundamental collection just like, you know, funding mentally, like wanted to connect, connect those words. And it was going to help support this event that I was throwing with friends on called the chosen familia. It was like really to honor and the like practices of the Philippines and folks that are practicing indigenous practice from there, the healing practices. So I wanted to help fund that and pay them you know, like offer, some have some offering for those that are practicing in this event. And that's how it really started. And so every time we had a collection of the oh, this is a great way to at least give back in some way. And so that's how it has happened. So each year, I try to make sure that each collection has some type of like, giving back aspect to it. Because it's a lot of money that people are dropping. I mean, the garments are pretty pricey than the shipping I think is the biggest barrier because it's shipping from the UK. So for every sale, I'm truly truly grateful that folks are just down to support but also know that it's it's being shared, you know, and I think that's the way to practice this way of liberation that we're thinking about, right? Like how do we share our resources? Like they we can still support ourselves, but also we can give what we can and so that's what I want to keep practicing.

what a beautiful question. Well, you both are the cannabis industry and you both have been supporting me personally and professionally. So let me just shout out to y'all because honestly, the messages, the messages that I get from you both, and the love that I get keeps me here. So I feel so grateful with that. So thank you so much for everything that you do, and, and just your love. Honestly, I feel like I've been in this space for a while now. And it has aged me, aged me very well. And I really feel like meeting you too. And meeting the other handful of people that I've really met has, has supported me and nourish me in ways that I could never possibly understand. And I'm just so grateful that I have connected in these ways because of cannabis, I just always shout at the plant, the plant knows plant is connecting us. I guess lately. So 69. And Sunny is becoming a music television. And I really love what is becoming. And I just launched the first music video yesterday on 69 and sunny TV on YouTube. So please look at the music video. And what I really love the most about it is I'm trying to find very similarly to how Willa brought those collections together and brought awareness to initiatives. I want to match up music artists, emerging music artists with cannabis brands, so that we can start to have some common ground and have some ways to understand each other a little bit more. So I started that yesterday. And that feels really good to me. And I'm looking forward to seeing how six, nine and Sunday grows in that way. Because I honestly, when I was younger, all I would do is look up music artists, all they would do I was just on Saturday nights after I hung out with my friends, I'd go home and I'd be on the blogs, like reading up different things, what people were doing all this stuff. And as the years have gone by, and it only makes sense that Bryce is my partner is an amazing talented artists. And he has over 15 million streams now like he's just, he's just a he's just doing goddesses work with his music. And I have seen him struggle so much, I have seen him struggle to reach people. And then I also see cannabis just struggling and just to be able to bridge that gap and do a promo channel for both artists and cannabis, that match made in heaven. So I'm starting to build this platform. And I really just know that once it starts being talked about, it's gonna take off and surfacing some of these emerging artists. And then I want to be able to pay these artists every single time that they submit, and that we are able to match them up with a cannabis brand that is also doing advertising, I want to start paying these artists so that they can have a nice stream of income coming in for their creations that they're making. So shout out to artists getting paid, because that is truly what we're here for is this to continue to be able to create work and receive income for it. It's, it seems like such a complex. But I really do know that with all the billions that are coming in, in the cannabis industry, there is literally

It's like, I mean, even when you I just I've been rewatching some old 96 comes because I have a pinch brewing in my head for Buzzfeed article. But anyway. It just always brings to my attention that you know, it's like, what 30 years later, at least 20 We're still paying writers and creatives the same and inflation is bonkers bananas, and it's like people still are always trying to discount paying creatives. It's especially when there's a recession or inflation. It's the first thing that people try to figure out how to do themselves and well not the first thing but it is you know, in our we feel it right? Like we all feel it. We've all been there and we all know and we all know it's like you know there are enough people making enough money in this industry to pay living decent wages to people for creating artwork and content and everything else that goes with promoting your brand and stop trying to pay people with exposure. Dianna, because that is the exact reason that I have made this pivot it really is to figure out a way for artists because it's not just about me figuring out a way, and I'm so grateful for our royalties, our royalties for our music has gotten us through the last year. And what I really love about understanding how royalties work and how investments work and shout out to my new job I, it's Ben Franklin Technology Partners. So now I'm learning how it's one of the top venture funding, and I'm still learning about money and what those words mean. But it's one of these top investments in the country, and it's a nonprofit. So I am learning about money from the back end and how people are using money and transferring money. But then I'm also learning it, web three, and how we can create royalties in that way. Like, I just really appreciate how we all get to connect in this way, you know, sockington a friend the other day, and I was like, I don't think we would have met because they're also like a person. Or being that I met online. Like, we were like, online friends, and, and we can't wait to see each other in real life. But I've met so many online folks and friends and made these connections online that I don't think that would have happened if I wasn't in this part of my journey. You know, like, if I didn't go through all that stuff, from lifetime before, up until that point, like, I don't know, if I will have received these messages or these invitations to connect and all that stuff. So I'm just really grateful that we are connecting with the folks that we had been dreaming about that we have been planting the seeds, like right now are, we are feeling the fruits of some of the plant the seeds that we planted a long time ago. And remember that it's like, oh, shit, I did ask for this. You know, like, that is a fucking blessing. So when you asked me about how people can support, it's just keep keep planting your seeds, keep watering, that keep trusting it's growth, Trust yourself, trust your community, like, be in debt, you know, like, really be in it, like MC get your hands dirty. And I say that, because I haven't done that yet. Like, I only work with my hands too. But um, yeah, I say just be in it. Be here, and now it'd be in it. So that's how we can support each other. Yeah, I want to add to that to you that that was so special. I just, Bryce and I just drew a graphic of, of a plant growing from seeds to coming out of the earth and one of it was just like respect the seeds, like respect that they will do what they need to do. And I think a lot of us end up planting seeds everywhere we plant I mean, that's what I did for the longest time because I planted seeds everywhere, thinking like, Oh, these seeds aren't going to work over here. So I have to plant seeds over here. But the more respect and nourishment that I gave to the seeds, instead of thinking that oh, it couldn't work out instead of just like being present with that garden and being with that dirt and just letting it just do what it needs to do.
